Special Resolution 2018 - Trust Deed changes

The Te Tāwharau o Ngāti Pūkenga Trust Deed was developed in 2012 – 2013 and signed in 2013. During the first elections in 2015, improvements to the election process were identified. Until the settlement was received however, the Crown had to approve any changes to the Trust Deed. Now that we have received our settlement, we no longer need to consult the Crown. The trustees therefore decided to review the Trust Deed early this year.

David Gray was appointed as an independent facilitator to review our Trust Deed.  In his first report, he made a number of recommendations which he discussed with the trustees.  As a result of that discussion, he submitted a final report setting out his final recommendations.  A copy of the report can be found HERE

If you have any queries regarding the proposed changed to the Trust Deed you can email David on : david@davidgray.co.nz.  For any voting queries please phone 0800 100 394.
